About the Role

Hays is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (IOS & Android) for a contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves developing and maintaining mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring they are ready for publication and ongoing support across major app stores. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in mobile development.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, debug, publish, and maintain mobile applications for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs.
• Apply strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
• Work effectively within Agile software development methodologies.
• Manage multiple tasks, organize work, and prioritize effectively.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of mobile application development experience.
• Strong iOS development experience using Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode.
• Strong Android development experience using Kotlin or Java, and Android Studio.
• Experience with Flutter (Dart).
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema.
• Experience working in Agile environments and proficiency using Jira.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience building enterprise mobile applications.
• Experience with secure mobile development practices.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Experience collaborating closely with product, backend, and QA teams.
• Cross-platform mobile architecture experience.
• Mobile performance optimization experience.
• Experience with modern SDK integrations.

Work Environment

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires working within an Agile framework, collaborating with various teams to deliver robust mobile solutions.
