Role Overview

The Senior Specialist Data Science & Artificial Intelligence II is responsible for the comprehensive design, development, and deployment of machine learning and Generative AI solutions. This role focuses on addressing defined business problems, ensuring technical robustness, optimal model performance, and adherence to responsible AI implementation principles across various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and validate machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI models, including LLM-based applications.
• Implement prompt engineering strategies and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and performance optimization for AI solutions.
• Prepare, cleanse, and transform both structured and unstructured datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Support the deployment of ML and Generative AI models utilizing MLOps and LLMOps practices.
• Conduct structured evaluation of LLM outputs, including hallucination detection and quality scoring.
• Integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems via APIs.
• Document model design, assumptions, identified risks, and validation results comprehensively.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, cybersecurity, and ethical AI guidelines throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support the monitoring, retraining, and lifecycle management of deployed models to maintain performance and relevance.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in data science and artificial intelligence. This experience should include a strong focus on machine learning and Generative AI solutions, demonstrating a proven track record in the development and deployment of such systems.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires dedicated on-site presence to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and integrate AI solutions within the company's operational framework.
