About the Role

Qiddiya | القدية is seeking an experienced Senior Specialist - General Ledger to join its finance team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and plays a central part in ensuring the financial integrity of the company.

Role Purpose

The Senior Specialist - General Ledger will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's general ledger. This role ensures strict compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies. Success in this position demands a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee general ledger operations, including journal entry processing and account reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and review financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external auditors during periodic audit processes.
Identify and promptly resolve any discrepancies found in financial records.
Assist in the continuous enhancement of accounting procedures and internal controls.
Stay current with evolving accounting regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Candidate Profile

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in general ledger operations or a related finance function.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Proven analytical abilities for identifying, investigating, and resolving financial discrepancies.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, particularly in complex financial scenarios.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the finance team of Qiddiya | القدية, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working collaboratively within a professional finance environment.
