About the Senior Vendor Manager Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (formerly Souq) is seeking a Senior Vendor Manager for the Health & Personal Care category in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of professional experience and focuses on driving category growth and managing key vendor relationships within the Saudi Arabian market.

Role Overview

The Senior Vendor Manager acts as a customer and category advocate within the Health & Personal Care sector. This role demands proven analytical capabilities, strong project management skills, and meticulous attention to detail. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to prioritize effectively, multitask, and drive category growth. It requires an effective leader and communicator who can collaborate with ******'s most important partners and vendors, as well as internal colleagues and cross-functional teams. A self-starter with a passion for retail and a high level of flexibility and commitment is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the business owner for assigned categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business. This includes owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding, and reporting on business performance, along with responsibility for driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.
• Maximize Amazon’s business profitability and selection expansion opportunities.
• Manage vendor relationships, including supplier/partner contracts, day-to-day interactions, and negotiating and securing marketing funds.
• Create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines.
• Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of Excel experience.
• 5+ years of experience in account management, project or program management, or buying.
• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
• Experience using data to influence business decisions.
• Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with business analysis and P&L management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
