About Absolute Taste Meddle East

Absolute Taste Meddle East is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to join its culinary team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, on-site contract position, offering an opportunity to contribute to a catering operation known for its commitment to fresh and simple food philosophy.

The Role of Sous Chef

The Sous Chef will provide essential support to the Head Chef in all kitchen operations. This role is central to planning and executing high-quality menus, ensuring that all dishes consistently meet Absolute Taste's standards for presentation and taste. The successful candidate will also assist in developing menus that align with the company's philosophy of fresh and simple food.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising daily kitchen operations.
Coordinating food preparation and service schedules.
Maintaining stringent food safety and hygiene practices.
Leading and providing training to kitchen team members.
Managing stock levels and overseeing the ordering of ingredients.
Collaborating with front-of-house and event teams to ensure a seamless catering experience for clients and guests.

Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience of 5-10 years as a Sous Chef or a senior Chef de Partie.
Demonstrated experience in professional kitchen environments, including hotels, restaurants, or event catering.

Work Schedule and Environment

This position requires flexibility to work varied hours, which will include evenings, weekends, and event-specific schedules. The role is based on-site in Riyadh, operating within a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment.
