About The Helicopter Company

The Helicopter Company (THC) is seeking a Sr. Technician I to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to maintaining the operational readiness and safety of the company's aircraft fleet.

Role Overview

The Sr. Technician I is responsible for performing and overseeing maintenance activities and projects assigned at any THC operating base. This includes ensuring the on-time completion, departure, and availability of the Operator’s aircraft. The role requires strict compliance with OEM manuals, accurate completion of maintenance documentation, adherence to Repair Station facilities standards, and regular reporting to Maintenance Assistance Managers and other THC stakeholders depending on the maintenance base locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote SMS reporting using the THC safety management systems in place.
  • Recommend engineering safety practices, ensure the use of PPE, and advise on any deficiencies.
  • Ensure FOD control measures are implemented by Part 145 Staff.
  • Report any hangar facility deficiencies or defects to the Line Manager and/or through the safety management system as required.
  • Ensure all maintenance, preventative maintenance, and/or alterations are carried out correctly using current approved technical data.
  • Ensure compliance with the RSQCM, GMM, and TODPM Work Instructions at all times.
  • Ensure the required engineering standards and aircraft maintenance documentation completion are carried out correctly.
  • Attend and/or perform daily toolbox talks and aircraft team briefings on assigned maintenance projects.
  • Attend weekly production planning meetings as required to report on hangar maintenance activities, advising on specific manning, tooling, test equipment, and parts requirements.
  • Ensure all removed aircraft components are labelled, protected, and stored correctly for aircraft under maintenance.
  • Identify and advise the Line Manager of staff training needs.
  • Promote teamwork, staff discipline, wearing of company-provided uniform, and corporate identity.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to work and information.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Equivalent EASA/FAA/ICAO Type II License (if non-GACA Licensed) or GACA License/GACA Repairman Certificate.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technician or in any related field.
  • Type rated on AW139, with a minimum of 3 years of experience on this specific aircraft type.
  • Previous experience as a Part 145 rostered RII/Inspector.
  • Must present documentary evidence of training or type rating.

Required Skills and Attributes

  • Good knowledge of organizational procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to exercise the privileges of the relevant certificate and rating.
