About KBR Saudi Arabia and the Role

KBR Saudi Arabia is seeking a Stakeholder Manager to join its Programme Team. This full-time role is central to managing interfaces with key stakeholders for the DGDA Programme, reporting directly to the Project Director and Technical Director. The project involves a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development in Riyadh, envisioned as a global landmark. KBR provides Project Management Consultancy services covering project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication between their agencies and the DGDA Programme.
  • Support the Technical Team and Delivery Managers in progressing project issues through relevant agencies, ensuring project schedules are not impacted by stakeholder approvals and permits.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of each stakeholder agency’s processes and challenges to enable the DGDA Phase 2 PMC team to adapt requirements accordingly.
  • Provide feedback on stakeholder issues to the PMC team to ensure appropriate timescales for all approvals and permits are incorporated into project schedules.
  • Attend coordination meetings with stakeholders, communicating issues, concerns, and actions to the appropriate Manager.
  • Assist the Technical Team and Delivery Managers in resolving issues that arise between stakeholders, Design Consultants, and Contractors.
  • Support the Interface and Engineering Teams during meetings and discussions with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of stakeholder concerns, actions, assigned owners, and due dates.
  • Prepare recommendations aimed at improving communication and approval procedures with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or an equivalent field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of overall relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience specifically in stakeholder management roles within projects.
  • A minimum of 5 years of regional experience.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of design and construction management on civil infrastructure projects, including utilities interface and coordination management.
  • Specific experience in engaging with Government Authorities and Utility Service Providers.
  • Experience with KSA Authorities is desirable.
  • Proven experience and skills in developing and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.

Work Location
