Store Manager

About the Role

Carrefour Saudi Arabia (Majid Al Futtaim) is seeking a Store Manager for its supermarket operations in Riyadh. This regular full-time position is responsible for ensuring seamless service delivery and driving supermarket operations to achieve maximum sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The role also focuses on optimizing stock management and fostering continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement MAF Retail’s supermarket plans in alignment with strategic objectives and procedures, collaborating with Head Office and Corporate Office.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate commercial performance and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and sales turnover.
• Maximize sales and profitability through effective cost control within established budgetary guidelines.
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Initiate and ensure the application of comparative studies between departments to contribute to commercial performance efficiency.
• Coordinate regularly with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management, including stock value, out-of-stock situations, orders, and timely merchandise deliveries.
• Supervise the ongoing service and maintenance of the supermarket’s assets.
• Oversee the enhancement of hygiene standards and ensure the supermarket's safety and security protocols are met.
• Develop and implement action plans for continuous improvement across all operational areas.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in supermarket or retail management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supermarket operations to achieve sales and profitability targets.
• Experience in stock management, cost control, and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh and involves working within a dynamic retail environment. The position is a regular employment type, contributing to the operational success of Carrefour Saudi Arabia.
