The Role of Structural Engineer – E-House

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Structural Engineer specializing in E-Houses, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is central to the structural design, engineering, fabrication support, lifting, transportation, and installation requirements for E-houses and prefabricated electrical buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complete structural engineering for E-houses, including analysis and design of steel frames, floors, roofs, walls, and equipment supports.
• Design lifting and transportation arrangements, including structural connections.
• Consider significant electrical equipment loads such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS systems, batteries, cable trays, and HVAC equipment in designs.
• Design E-house structures for static, dynamic, operational, transportation, lifting, wind, and seismic load conditions.
• Focus on structural behavior during lifting, loading, transportation, unloading, and final positioning, including lifting points, beams, temporary supports, load distribution, center of gravity, and transportation restraints.
• Develop and review lifting and transportation engineering methodologies and method statements, including calculations and technical documentation.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, 3D/CAD models, fabrication drawings, connection details, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate closely with electrical, mechanical, fabrication, production, logistics, and installation teams to ensure designs are structurally sound, manufacturable, transportable, and suitable for site installation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of direct and demonstrable experience in E-house or electrical prefabricated building structural engineering is mandatory.
• Candidates with primary experience in conventional buildings or general steel structures, without significant hands-on E-house experience, will not be considered.
• Strong understanding of electrical equipment loads associated with E-houses.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring full-time commitment within a collaborative industrial setting.
