About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves overseeing housekeeping operations to ensure quality standards are met across guest rooms and public areas. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Manage sold room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
Support Housekeeping management in daily operational activities.
Act as a coordinator between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments.
Communicate operational issues effectively to the next shift.
Complete all required paperwork accurately.

Operational Support and Team Leadership

Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees.
Ensure compliance with all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
Complete all mandatory safety training and certifications.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Guest Service and Communication

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
Capable of pushing and pulling a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
Read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
