About Cenomi Retail and the Role

Cenomi Retail, founded in 1990 as Fawaz Alhokair Fashion Retail Co., is a prominent retail and F&B operator. The company has introduced over 80 international brands to Saudi Arabia and operates more than 1,600 stores across 100 shopping centers in 11 countries. Cenomi Retail is seeking a Techno Functional Consultant Oracle HCM to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a full-time capacity.

Role Overview

The Techno Functional Consultant Oracle HCM will be responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. This role involves translating HR operational requirements into technical specifications, ensuring system functionality aligns with business processes, and maintaining compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Talent Management) in Oracle Fusion/SAP/Workday.
• Configure fast formulas, business rules, workflows, and approval hierarchies to align with company policies.
• Design interfaces between HCM and third-party systems.
• Conduct gap analysis between system functionality and business requirements, translating HR operational needs into technical specifications (*, accruals, multi-country payroll).
• Advise on best practices for period close, reporting, and compliance.
• Develop extensions, custom reports, and dashboards using tools like OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Manage data conversions and migrations from legacy to new systems.
• Troubleshoot integration issues with timekeeping, ERP, or benefits platforms.
• Resolve L3 functional/technical issues, such as payroll calculation errors.
• Train super users on system features and self-service portals, and maintain configuration workbooks and process documentation.
• Ensure systems adhere to SOX, GAAP, and local labor laws.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and security role validations.

Performance Metrics and Collaboration

Success in this role is measured by achieving 100% requirements met per signed-off blueprints for project delivery, resolving 90% of critical tickets within Service Level Agreements (SLA), ensuring ≥85% user satisfaction in post-go-live surveys, and maintaining zero findings in financial/HR system audits. The consultant will collaborate with Finance Teams (Accounting), HR Teams (Payroll, Compensation, Talent), and IT Teams (Security, Infrastructure, Integration).

Required Experience and Technical Environment

Candidates for this position should have 5-10 years of experience in a techno-functional role, specifically with HCM systems. The role requires proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion HCM and Workday. Essential technical tools include SQL, FBDI, HDL, VBCS, HCM Extract, and REST/SOAP APIs. Experience with reporting platforms like OTBI, Smart View, and PowerBI is also necessary.
