The Role of UAV Pilot (Fixed-wing)

Asterion Systems is seeking a UAV Pilot (Fixed-wing) to operate and manage fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. This role is integral to supporting surveillance, perimeter security, and various mission operations, aligning with Asterion Systems’ defense and security platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mission planning for UAV operations.
• Perform pre-flight checks to ensure operational readiness.
• Safely operate fixed-wing UAVs during missions.
• Monitor in-flight operations and data.
• Execute post-flight debriefs and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and security teams to implement flight plans effectively.
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues that may arise during operations.
• Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and local airspace rules.
• Review mission data for accuracy and completeness.
• Report any anomalies or incidents observed during flights.
• Support the continuous improvement of flight procedures and autonomous systems.

Work Environment

This is an on-site, full-time role located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The UAV Pilot will work within multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and defense specialists to deliver mission-ready security systems.
