The Role of ESS Business Data Senior Specialist

The ESS Business Data Senior Specialist serves as the Team Lead for the Business Data Integrity Team (BDIT) within BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, located in Taif. This full-time role is critical for maintaining the airworthiness of the RSAF Typhoon fleet by ensuring the integrity of engineering records. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and offers a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BDIT to ensure timely and effective management of all Typhoon aircraft and equipment engineering records, both electronic and hard copy.
• Act as the focal point within the Technical Support Centre (TSC) for Typhoon BDIT, engaging with the RSAF at all levels to facilitate understanding of BDIT requirements.
• Liaise with Fleet Management, ESS Reference Data Integrity (DIT) Forward & Depth Maintenance organisations to ensure timely and effective loading of nationalised Technical Instruction and Scheduled Maintenance requirements and updates onto ESS.
• Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) advice and assistance to ESS Business Data Specialists, ESS New Instruction Record (NIR) Specialists, and ESS Asset Specialists.
• Oversee BDIT Issue, Asset Management, and NIR Management related activities.
• Lead activities for developing ESS Application capability for the RSAF, ensuring all improvement requests are validated and authorised before formal release. Conduct testing and evaluation of all application changes prior to embodiment into the RSAF ESS System.
• Ensure robust 'On the Job' training material is available to enable BDIT staff to perform actions detailed within BDIT process documents.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in data management, engineering records, or a similar field, preferably within an aviation or defence context. Experience in leading a team and managing complex data integrity processes is essential.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Taif, Saudi Arabia, within a critical support function for the Royal Saudi Air Force. The role involves working closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including RSAF personnel.
