About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead the nursing team in Taif, Makkah Region. This full-time role involves overseeing daily nursing and personal care for clinic patients, ensuring adherence to individual needs and capabilities. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for providing medical and nursing care, offering advice and emotional support, managing administrative tasks, assisting doctors with diagnoses, and ensuring follow-up care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disinfect clinical surfaces and equipment at the start of the day and after each patient.
  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms.
  • Take and document patients' medical histories.
  • Screen patients for risks of falls, nutritional deficiencies, and functional impairments.
  • Take and document vital signs.
  • Triage patients in the emergency room to categorize their emergency status.
  • Perform minor wound dressings.
  • Monitor patients under observation.
  • Prepare and administer intramuscular and intravenous medications under aseptic conditions.
  • Escort patients in ambulances.
  • Ensure patients’ dignity during examinations and procedures.
  • Assist physicians in performing patient examinations and procedures.
  • Closely follow infection control guidelines for managing patients and their body fluids.
  • Withdraw blood from patients for laboratory investigations in the emergency room.
  • Perform point-of-care tests.
  • Transport used instruments to dirty utility rooms.
  • Monitor stocks of consumable materials to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Maintain an inventory of medical equipment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Orient newly recruited nurses to the organization.
  • Ensure the availability of the required nursing workforce on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with the medical director to ensure quality patient care.
  • Supervise the work of registered nurses.
  • Conduct annual appraisals for nurses.
  • Serve as a member of the community advisory committee.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in nursing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a nursing team effectively.
  • Strong understanding and application of infection control and hygiene guidelines.
  • Proficiency in managing stock levels and ensuring readiness of medical equipment and consumables.

Work Environment and Conditions

This role operates entirely indoors (100%). The work schedule includes 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, based on a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
