ASSOCIATE ERM AND PATIENT SAFETY PROFESSIONAL

About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking an Associate ERM and Patient Safety Professional to join their team in Dhahran. This full-time role is responsible for managing the occurrence reporting process within the healthcare organization, ensuring all reported events are thoroughly reviewed, investigated, and actioned to enhance overall safety protocols.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to support and achieve risk management and patient safety standards. The professional will identify emerging risks and patient safety trends through event analysis, contributing to the continuous improvement of safety within the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties to support and achieve risk management and patient safety needs and standards.
• Ensure the facility complies with all government and local laws, as well as accreditation standards.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Report potential new risk and safety themes and opportunities identified from event analysis.
• Document, monitor, and analyze patient safety events, developing action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
• Manage the event reporting process as designed within the hospital.
• Ensure all reported events are analyzed, reviewed, corrected, and actioned appropriately.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a foundational understanding of risk management and patient safety principles within a healthcare setting.
