Faculty Position in Aerospace Engineering

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor positions within the Aerospace Engineering department. Located in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, KFUPM is seeking highly competent and experienced faculty members dedicated to both teaching and research in the field of Aerospace Engineering for full-time roles.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction. Key responsibilities for this faculty role include:

• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses.
• Advising and mentoring students.
• Supervising MS and PhD theses/dissertations.
• Developing funded research programs appropriate to their field of specialization.

Required Specializations

Candidates should possess expertise in one or more of the following areas of specialization within Aerospace Engineering:

• Flight Dynamics and Control
• Aerodynamics
• Propulsion
• Aircraft Structures

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for these positions:

• An earned ** from a reputable institution.
• A strong record of published research.
• Experience in supervising research of graduate students.
• Relevant teaching experience at the university level.
• Teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas of specialization.
