Faculty Positions in Control and Instrumentation Engineering

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for full-time faculty positions within the Department of Control and Instrumentation Engineering. These roles are based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, and are open to highly qualified Saudi candidates at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.

Role Purpose and Scope

The successful candidates will be integral to the department's mission, contributing significantly to both research and teaching activities. Required Academic Specializations

Applicants must hold a ** degree and demonstrate expertise in one or more of the following specialized areas:

• Process Modeling and Control
• Dynamic Simulation
• Instrumentation
• Mechatronics
• Robotics

Key Responsibilities

Faculty members are expected to dedicate approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Core responsibilities include:

• Carrying out teaching duties effectively
• Conducting impactful research and scholarly activities
• Providing academic advising and mentorship to students
• Performing assigned administrative duties
• Undertaking any other academic duties as assigned by the academic department

Candidate Qualifications

Prospective candidates must meet the following academic and professional criteria:

• An earned ** degree from a reputable university in a relevant field.
• Full-time Bachelor's and Master's degrees with very good academic grades.
• Certificate equivalency is required if degrees were obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
