Role Overview

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) in Dhahran is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator 1 (CNE1) to join its team. This full-time position is central to enhancing the knowledge, clinical skills, and competencies of nursing staff across the organization. The CNE1 plays a critical role in supporting clinical excellence through education, mentorship, and the implementation of evidence-based practices. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and a strong background in clinical nursing, education, and project management.

Strategic Contributions

The Clinical Nurse Educator 1 is responsible for key strategic initiatives that support the nursing organization's objectives:

• Overseeing clinical practice education research and Evidence-Based Practice within the Nursing Organization.
• Pursuing high staff engagement levels.
• Obtaining high patient experience scores.
• Achieving and sustaining high quality of care and patient safety standards.
• Supporting the empowerment of nurses through the enculturation of the JHAH Nursing Professional Practice Model.

Operational Responsibilities

Key operational duties for this role include:

• Collaborating with nursing leadership and staff to identify educational needs for staff development.
• Designing, delivering, and evaluating educational programs, in-services, accreditation preparation, and training sessions.
• Developing and implementing competency assessment tools and processes, providing feedback for improvement.
• Developing and facilitating comprehensive orientation programs for new nursing hires.
• Promoting a culture of inquiry and critical thinking among nursing staff and trainees.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in evidence-based practices, guiding teams in applying research findings.
• Providing direct clinical support and guidance to nursing staff.
• Establishing and overseeing mentorship and preceptorship programs.
• Acting as a mentor to new and existing nurses, fostering professional growth.
• Participating in system design enhancement, optimization, product evaluation, and new technology integration.
• Participating in the review, development, and dissemination of nursing policies and procedures.
• Participating in organizational committees and taskforces focused on quality improvement, patient safety, and staff development.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Clinical Nurse Educator 1 position must meet the following requirements:

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required. A Master's Degree and/or a clinical teaching certificate are preferred.
• Certifications: Current licensure as a professional registered nurse is required.
• Experience: 5-10 years of experience in a relevant clinical and educational setting.
