Graduate Assistant, Architecture and City Design

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Department of Architecture and City Design. This full-time position is based in Dhahran and is open to Saudi candidates who hold a bachelor's degree and are interested in contributing to both research and teaching activities.

Role Overview

The Graduate Assistant will play a supportive role within the Department of Architecture and City Design. This position is designed to facilitate academic and professional development through direct involvement in the department's research initiatives and educational programs, providing a foundation in academic support functions.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to commit approximately 35-40 hours per week to professional duties. Core responsibilities include:

• Carrying out teaching duties as assigned.
• Conducting research activities in support of departmental projects.
• Providing academic advising to students.
• Performing administrative duties to support department operations.
• Undertaking any other academic duties assigned by the academic department concerned.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for the Graduate Assistant position:

• An earned bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in the relevant field.
• Completion of a full-time bachelor’s degree program with very good grades.
• Certificate equivalency if the bachelor's degree was obtained from outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
