The Role of Lecturer in Information & Computer Science

The successful candidate will join the faculty to contribute to the university's Bachelor's degree programs. This role involves delivering high-quality education and fostering student engagement within the Information & Computer Science discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Bachelor Degree courses within the Information & Computer Science department.
• Fulfill additional duties as required by the College.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and effective student interaction.

Required Qualifications and Specializations

Applicants must meet the following criteria and possess expertise in one or more of the listed specialization areas:

• An earned Master's degree from a reputable institution.
• A strong record of published research.
• Experience in supervising the research of graduate students.
• Relevant teaching experience at the university level.
• Teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas of specialization, which include: Information Security, Data Security, Secure Software Development, Secure Computing, Secure Database Systems, Cloud Computing Security, Software Engineering, High Performance Computing, Cryptography and Security, Bioinformatics, and Information Visualization.

Compensation and Benefits Package

KFUPM offers a comprehensive benefits package for this renewable two-year contract, including:
