About the Role

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for faculty positions in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE). These full-time roles are available at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in Dhahran. Responsibilities

Faculty members are expected to engage in a range of academic and research activities, including:

• Delivering high-quality teaching in the specified areas and fulfilling departmental teaching requirements.
• Developing curriculum and lab activities for undergraduate programs.
• Contributing to curriculum development for postgraduate programs.
• Supervising undergraduate and graduate students.
• Conducting original research in their domain of expertise.
• Playing a lead role in research projects, aiming for high-quality publications and research grant income.
• Initiating and maintaining research collaborations with faculty members, leading to peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals.
• Incorporating recent advancements in their field into the courses taught.
• Participating in departmental and university service, including program development.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate a strong academic background and professional capabilities, including:

• Demonstrated teaching experience in the areas mentioned above.
• Strong research potential, evidenced by publications in reputed archival journals.
• Excellent communication skills.
