Draftsman

About the Role

sraco is seeking a Draftsman to join their team in Dhahran. This full-time position involves preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings based on engineering specifications, project requirements, and site conditions. The role requires close collaboration with engineers, project teams, and other departments to ensure all drawings meet project standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Develop engineering, construction, fabrication, and installation drawings as required.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy.
• Modify drawings based on engineering comments and project requirements.
• Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, layouts, sections, elevations, and details.
• Coordinate with engineers and other disciplines to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and applicable codes.
• Maintain proper drawing records, revisions, and document control.
• Assist with quantity take-offs and preparation of material-related drawings when required.
• Review site measurements and incorporate actual site conditions into drawings.
• Support the engineering team with drawing updates and other technical documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant drafting role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software for 2D and 3D drafting.
• Strong understanding of engineering specifications, project requirements, and technical documentation.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is SAR 5,625 - SAR 7,500.

This position is based in Dhahran.
