Job Overview

Eram Talent is seeking a Drilling Rig Foreman to join the Unconventional Resources Drilling Department (URDD) in Dhahran, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves supervising field operations for land drilling and workover rigs, focusing on programmed work for deep or critical wells. The incumbent will oversee operations for contract rigs performing drilling or remedial work on wells ranging from 18,000 to 23,000 feet, ensuring compliance with safety standards and contractual obligations.

Role Responsibilities

• Ensure all rig personnel and service providers adhere to Saudi Aramco safety standards and requirements.
• Supervise and oversee all operations performed on wells.
• Provide recommendations on alternative methods or equipment when unusual situations arise.
• Coordinate deliveries of materials to the well site to ensure timely availability.
• Verify that the contractor fulfills all requirements of their contract.
• Collaborate with Drilling and Workover engineers to ensure modern drilling practices are followed.
• Approve the contractor's daily tour report.
• Ensure proper maintenance of contractor rig and equipment to prevent downtime.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by the Superintendent.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco Blowout Prevention Standards, including equipment configuration, testing, and crew response, and confirm rig and personnel adhere to established safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in drilling operations. The role requires a strong understanding of field supervision and contract administration within the drilling industry.

Work Environment and Conditions

This position requires a willingness to work in remote locations and potentially harsh weather conditions, overseeing critical drilling and workover operations.

Contract Administration

The Drilling Rig Foreman will administer contracts on-site and serve as the primary liaison between the company and the contractor, ensuring all contractual obligations are met and operations proceed efficiently and safely.
