About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse 3 to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position is responsible for providing advanced-level nursing care within the assigned emergency unit and supporting critical operational processes. The role requires 4 years of relevant experience, focusing on maintaining high standards of patient care, assisting in resolving complex clinical issues, and collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care services, with a focus on complex cases.
• Assist in managing workflow, ensuring proper resource utilization, and providing mentorship to junior nurses.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in the evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices within the assigned unit.
• Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Work towards achieving and sustaining high staff engagement, patient experience, quality of care, and patient safety.

Clinical Practice and Patient Care

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document patient care from admission through discharge, specific to the patient's age.
• Provide nursing care and patient/family education consistent with the plan of care and needs of the patients, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency and lifesaving situations by utilizing clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform a wide range of nursing procedures in the assigned Emergency facilities with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Professional Development and Mentorship

• Support the empowerment of nurses through the enculturation of the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.
• Precept new hires and trainees during the probation training period and participate in making recommendations regarding their progress and training needs.
• Achieve and/or maintain the mandated set of activities for Level 3, which requires a minimum total of 20 points in at least four categories within each 12-month cycle, as outlined in the Clinical Advancement Program.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Dhahran, within the Emergency facilities of Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH). The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
