About the Role

Arabian Drilling Co. is seeking a Rig Safety & Training Coordinator to join our team in Dhahran. This full-time position is integral to promoting a safe and healthy work environment across our drilling rigs, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and company policies.

Role Overview

The Rig Safety & Training Coordinator plays a critical role in developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive safety programs. This position involves conducting essential safety training for rig personnel and ensuring full compliance with all relevant safety regulations and the company's HSE Management System. The coordinator also serves as a key liaison, bridging operational needs with established safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust safety programs tailored for drilling operations.
• Design and deliver effective safety training and development sessions for rig personnel.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and serve as a liaison with regulatory bodies.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration on safety matters across all levels.
• Oversee daily safety operations, including permits and inspections.
• Manage training tracking and administrative tasks related to safety programs.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of total experience in rigs, including at least 2 years in dedicated safety or training roles.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices applicable to oil and gas drilling operations.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating safety programs.
• Excellent training and development skills, including the ability to design and deliver effective safety training sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct safety audits and inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Experience in investigating safety incidents and implementing corrective measures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with rig personnel at all levels, supervisors, and regulatory bodies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in safety practices.

Education and Professional Certifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Required certifications include NEBOSH and Saudi Occupational Health (OSH) General Guideline.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dhahran, where the successful candidate will contribute to maintaining high safety standards across Arabian Drilling Co.'s operations.
