About the Role

Ejobsboard is recruiting a Safety Advisor for Saudi Aramco's prestigious Loss Prevention (LP) organization. This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, and involves providing daily, high-visibility field support to company facilities and departments. The Safety Advisor will play an active role in helping operations meet the strict expectations of the Saudi Aramco Safety Management System.

Role Context and Impact

The Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention (LP) organization manages day-to-day in-field occupational safety, process safety compliance, and centralized technical consulting for global oil and gas infrastructure. Working within this framework, the Safety Advisor operates on the front lines of operational integrity, tasked with transforming corporate safety objectives into standard practice and minimizing risk across major facilities located throughout the Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine field inspections and comprehensive safety reviews to confirm on-site adherence to company protocols and international codes.
  • Identify immediate hazards, formulate cost-effective corrections, and track the implementation of practical preventative actions.
  • Monitor critical field risk areas, including work at height, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) systems, Permit to Work (PTW) protocols, hydrogen sulfide (H2S) zones, and excavations.
  • Participate in contractor safety evaluations, prequalifications, and ongoing site performance metrics to ensure third-party compliance.
  • Contribute to highly technical process safety evaluations, including HAZOPs, Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs), and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
  • Deliver professional Loss Prevention training modules to full-time employees, contractors, and relevant third parties.
  • Respond directly to emergency situations and industrial incidents both during and outside standard working hours to offer immediate technical advice.
  • Support the classification, reporting, and systematic tracking of all site incidents to define root causes and prevent workplace recurrence.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must qualify through one of the following professional pathways:

  • Pathway A: Degree Holders
    • Education: Bachelor of Science (*** degree from an accredited institution.
    • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of direct industry experience within oil and gas, petrochemicals, or related heavy industries.
  • Pathway B: Non-Degree Experienced Professionals
    • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of deep, relevant field experience in oil and gas, refining, turnarounds, or plant engineering, with a clear track record of delivering measurable safety results.

Required Skills

  • Flawless verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to compose technical reports for management.

Location and Compensation

This full-time position is based in Dhahran, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, with operational support extending to various major facilities across the Kingdom, including Dhahran, Buqayq, Riyadh, Ras Tannurah, Jeddah, Yanbu, and Jazan. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from SAR 18,000 to SAR 28,000.
