About the Role

Accor is seeking a Director of Sales for Our Habitas AlUla, a luxury eco-resort situated in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a seasoned sales professional to drive revenue growth and manage the sales department. The role is focused on developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies across diverse market segments to achieve commercial objectives.

Sales Strategy and Business Development

The Director of Sales will be responsible for creating and implementing the annual and quarterly sales business plans. This includes identifying new business opportunities, target markets, and strategies to increase market share and achieve sales objectives. The role involves analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions. Proactive sales activities will be key to generating new business and maintaining strong relationships with a broad range of clients, including corporate accounts, government entities, Destination Management Companies (DMCs), travel agencies, tour operators, luxury travel advisors, and entertainment organizers. Representation at trade shows, exhibitions, and sales missions will also be a core component of business development.

Sales Leadership and Account Management

This position requires leading and developing the Sales team, setting individual sales targets, and monitoring performance through regular coaching and one-on-one meetings to foster a high-performance culture. The Director of Sales will also manage and monitor the sales pipeline, review account production and conversion performance, and track sales activities, opportunities, and revenue forecasts, ensuring accurate CRM maintenance. Developing strategic account plans for key clients, negotiating corporate agreements, and maintaining long-term relationships to encourage repeat business are critical aspects of account management.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Brand Representation

Effective collaboration with departments such as Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, Events, and Finance is essential to ensure smooth communication and seamless execution of confirmed business. The Director of Sales is expected to represent the Our Habitas brand professionally at all times, maintaining strong relationships with industry partners and key stakeholders, and promoting the brand's culture, experiences, and values.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within the luxury hospitality industry. A proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and driving business growth across multiple market segments, including Corporate, Leisure, MICE, Entertainment, Group, Government, and Luxury Travel, is required. Strong experience in developing strategic account plans, negotiating high-value commercial agreements, and working with luxury travel advisors, DMCs, and wholesalers is necessary. A good understanding of revenue management principles, sales forecasting, and commercial performance, along with experience using CRM systems, is expected. Excellent communication, negotiation, networking, and presentation skills are vital. Fluency in English is required, and Arabic proficiency is highly desirable, with additional languages being an advantage. Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian luxury hospitality market, particularly AlUla, is a significant advantage. The role requires a willingness to travel for sales missions, trade shows, and client meetings.

Performance will be measured against key indicators including Total Rooms Revenue, Corporate Revenue, Group Revenue, Leisure Revenue, MICE Revenue, Entertainment Revenue, New Business Acquisition, Account Retention, Sales Conversion Rate, Sales Pipeline Value, Client Meetings & Sales Calls, Site Inspections Conducted, Revenue Forecast Accuracy, CRM Compliance, Customer Satisfaction, and Employee Performance & Development.
