About the Role

Hill International, Inc. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Al Qassim. This is a full-time position for a professional with over 10 years of experience in quantity surveying. The role involves managing project costs from initial estimation through to completion, ensuring financial oversight and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Estimate costs, material quantities, and project timelines, while liaising with various project teams to maintain progress.
Review drawings and specifications for new projects to calculate material quantities, costs, labor, and time required. Provide early cost advice, budget, benchmark projects, and prepare life cycle cost plans.
Support the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, in collaboration with clients and consultants.
Conduct cost analysis for variations and claims, and provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
Value completed work, arrange payments, and ensure projects deliver value for money to clients.
Prepare and submit cost estimates and budgets, conduct studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs, and analyze outcomes to produce budget reports.
Track changes in design and construction work, adjusting budget projections as necessary.
Review and analyze contractor and supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions and resolve construction-related issues.
Prepare and present regular reports to management on project costs, budget variances, and potential risks.
Stay informed of industry trends and developments, integrating best practices into cost management processes.
Adhere to Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager or supervisor.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quantity surveying with a proven track record of managing project costs effectively. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying is required.

Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Al Qassim, where the Quantity Surveyor will contribute to various projects under the management of Hill International, Inc.
