Full Stack Developer (.NET & React) Saudi National

About the Role

Astek Middle East is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in .NET and React. This full-time role is based in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia, and requires Saudi nationality. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable enterprise applications, working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using .NET, **** Core, and React.
• Build secure, scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and system integrations.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and architectural decisions.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Business Analysis, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to coding standards and overall software quality.
• Troubleshoot application issues and support continuous improvement of existing systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and collaboration with DevOps teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience; candidates with 3+ years may be considered based on technical strength and relevant experience.
• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET / **** Core.
• Strong experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with Git and source-control workflows.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and application security fundamentals.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing practices.
• Practical understanding of Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Clean Architecture, microservices, or modular architectures.
• Familiarity with Azure or AWS.
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with application monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Work Location

This position is based on-site in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Al Qassim. Candidates from other locations willing to relocate to Al Qassim are also encouraged to apply.
