Health Safety Environment Engineer Role

Algihaz Holding is seeking a Health Safety Environment Engineer to join its team in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open to Saudi nationals only and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment, mitigating risks to health, safety, and the environment.
• Ensure adherence to all safety standards, rules, and regulations as per Algihaz Holding and client HSE requirements.
• Conduct or coordinate HSE training for site workers based on the nature of the job being performed.
• Ensure compliance with Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Lockout/Tagout/Permit-to-Work (LPP) procedures during job execution on site.
• Update and maintain all HSE documents and records in accordance with Algihaz Holding and client requirements.
• Conduct frequent site inspections to ensure HSE compliance.
• Provide regular HSE reports to site management and immediate supervisors regarding site safety issues.
• Attend weekly/monthly meetings with clients and site management to discuss site safety matters.
• Stay updated on all relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation and communicate changes to projects.
• Ensure safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, and that risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed, with employees aware of their responsibilities.
• Participate in monthly meetings as required to report on relevant health and safety matters.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant Health, Safety, and Environment role.
• Saudi national only.
• Strong understanding of HSE standards, rules, and regulations.
• Ability to conduct HSE training and site inspections.
• Proficiency in maintaining HSE documentation and records.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
