About High Links Contracting and the Role

High Links Contracting, a prominent name in the construction sector, is actively seeking a Senior Drafter to join a leading construction project. This full-time position is based in Al Qassim, Al Qasim, and requires candidates with 5-10 years of relevant experience in drafting for civil projects.

The Senior Drafter Position

The Senior Drafter will play a crucial role in translating engineering designs and specifications into precise 2D drawings. This position involves a strong focus on civil drafting, ensuring all visual representations are clear, accurate, and compliant with project standards. The successful candidate will also contribute to maintaining drawing quality and supporting team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review detailed 2D drawings, including plans, sections, and profiles, utilizing AutoCAD.
• Interpret complex engineering designs, specifications, and calculations to produce clear and accurate drawings.
• Update existing drawings to reflect design changes and incorporate site instructions.
• Ensure all drafted documents consistently meet established project standards and quality requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with civil engineers, architects, and on-site teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and implement robust drawing control procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior draftsmen within the team.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in civil 2D drafting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AutoCAD for detailed technical drawing preparation.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering data and translate it into precise visual formats.

Essential Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a valid Iqama ID with a minimum validity of 3 months beyond 2025.
• Availability to join the project team immediately.
