Engineering Admin

About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Engineering Admin to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah. This full-time role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of hotel equipment and facilities. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and address guest repair requests promptly.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues effectively.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for operational integrity.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and ensure thorough cleanup of the work area.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on various equipment, plumbing (*, plunging toilets, unclogging drains), and electrical components.
• Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
• Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
• Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, including external landscaping sprinklers.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance problems or hazards, and complete safety training.
• Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and adhere to quality standards.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and communicate professionally with colleagues.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier items with assistance.
• Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders, and perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• Basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

This is a full-time position based in Medina, Al Madinah, within the hospitality sector. The role requires adherence to company standards for guest service, safety, and professional conduct.
