The Role

The Medical and Clinical Affairs Quality Specialist is a full-time position based in Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for the planning, organization, and facilitation of Quality Management Plans and activities within the Medical and Clinical Affairs (MCA) department. The specialist will contribute to strategic quality initiatives and ensure adherence to quality standards across MCA operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development of strategic quality initiatives, goals, and objectives, tracking progress and preparing status reports for MCA Administration.
• Prepare reports to support executive management decision-making for improving management, clinical, and education outcomes.
• Direct and coordinate MCA Risk Management strategy and activities.
• Coordinate and support hospital accreditation activities within MCA.
• Manage MCA quality management activities, including the development of performance improvement indicators and policies and procedures.
• Consult, facilitate, and participate in MCA and hospital-wide performance improvement activities such as projects, clinical pathways, best practices, and benchmarking.
• Network with other departments to identify opportunities for improving joint issues.
• Participate in the education and training of nursing and MCA staff in quality management and performance improvement concepts, principles, and methodologies, and assist in evaluating performance improvement class curricula.
• Participate on committees, task forces, and teams as requested.
• Adhere to all Hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in personal and professional education, training, and development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in quality management within a medical or clinical affairs setting.
