RSM Planning Engineer

About the Role

Saudi Railway Company (SAR) is seeking a RSM Planning Engineer to join their team in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, specifically in An Nu'ayriyah and Dammam. This full-time role focuses on the comprehensive planning of maintenance requirements for SAR's rolling stock fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall input into the maintenance planning requirements for the SAR rolling stock fleet, covering locomotives, wagons, and wheels.
• Implement OEM requirements for respective asset types, incorporating predictive scheduling methodologies.
• Develop a detailed maintenance activities plan for locomotives, wagons, and wheels across workshops in Nairiyah, Dammam, and other relevant maintenance facilities.
• Drive the implementation of best practices to ensure high availability of locomotives, wagons, and wheels.
• Improve wheels lifecycle through the adoption of best practices in maintenance activities.
• Define cost improvement initiatives in coordination with the Planning & Technical team.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, preferably within the railway or heavy machinery sector. The role requires a strong understanding of maintenance processes and OEM specifications.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia, with primary locations in An Nu'ayriyah and Dammam. The role involves working within maintenance workshops and coordinating with various teams to ensure operational efficiency.
