About the Role

Petrocon Engineers & Consultant is seeking an experienced DCS SCADA & Automation Commissioning Engineer to join their team. This full-time position is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with a focus on supporting the AMAALA Project. The role involves critical commissioning, start-up, system validation, and operational readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute DCS, PLC, SCADA, and automation commissioning activities.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), loop checks, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
• Support plant commissioning, start-up, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Troubleshoot control system issues and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate effectively with engineering, construction, operations teams, and vendors.
• Support control system integration and field instrumentation interfaces.
• Assist with system handover processes, documentation, and operator training.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 V10.
• Strong hands-on experience in DCS, SCADA, PLC, and industrial automation.
• Significant exposure to FAT, SAT, loop checking, and functional testing procedures.
• Experience in water treatment, desalination/RO, wastewater/STP, utilities, or industrial infrastructure projects is preferred.

Work Location

This role is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with potential assignments in Al Wajh, supporting the AMAALA Project.
