About the Role

Equinox Resort Amaala, a new luxury lifestyle resort scheduled to open in 2026, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance department. This full-time position is based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with responsibilities extending to the Al Wajh area. The successful candidate will play a key role in the resort's launch and ongoing financial operations, contributing to the achievement of ambitious goals in alignment with Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements in accordance with company policies, international accounting standards, and Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements.
• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded according to Equinox Resort Amaala standards.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure timely resolution.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and timely processing.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian regulatory requirements, including Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), VAT regulations, and financial reporting obligations.
• Support the preparation and submission of tax filings, adhering to local laws and statutory deadlines.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and readily available.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to maintain integrity and transparency.
• Monitor financial transactions, expenses, and cost controls to support operational efficiency and financial performance.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support informed decision-making and business strategy.
• Collaborate with operational departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and financial reporting.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation in line with audit and compliance standards.
• Identify opportunities for financial process improvements and support the implementation of best practices.
• Uphold Equinox Resort Amaala’s commitment to excellence and professionalism in all financial operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulations, including VAT and ZATCA requirements, is essential.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Solid understanding of month-end closing procedures.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced luxury resort environment.
