About the Opportunity

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated In Room Dining Order Taker to join the team at Fairmont The Red Sea in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is open to Saudi Nationals and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in hospitality or food service. The successful candidate will be the primary point of contact for guests ordering food and beverages to their rooms, ensuring a luxury service experience.

Role Overview

As an In Room Dining Order Taker, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service that reflects Fairmont's commitment to luxury hospitality. This involves accurately and efficiently processing guest orders, providing personalized recommendations, and ensuring every guest interaction exceeds expectations. You will manage guest inquiries and coordinate with various teams to facilitate timely and satisfactory service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer in-room dining calls promptly and professionally, providing guests with menu information and recommendations.
• Accurately record guest orders in the point-of-sale system, ensuring all special requests and dietary requirements are documented.
• Communicate orders efficiently to the kitchen and room service teams to maintain service flow.
• Address guest inquiries regarding menu items, pricing, and service options with knowledge and courtesy.
• Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions while upholding service standards.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and guest preferences to enhance future service experiences.
• Adhere to all established food safety, hygiene, and service protocols.
• Coordinate with room service staff to ensure timely delivery and guest satisfaction.
• Multitask effectively during peak service periods while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven customer service experience in a hospitality or food service environment.
• Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer literacy.
• Professional phone etiquette and a courteous demeanor.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and flexibility in handling guest requests.
• Preferred: Knowledge of fine dining service standards, menu terminology, and familiarity with dietary restrictions and food allergies.
