Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is establishing Fairmont The Red Sea as part of the groundbreaking Red Sea Project in Saudi Arabia. This destination, alongside Raffles The Red Sea, will offer visitors access to nature-focused luxury resorts. Fairmont The Red Sea will contribute to a complex featuring 361 rooms, 11 distinct dining concepts, including an overwater restaurant with views of the Red Sea and mangroves, and a spa, aiming to provide a refined guest experience within Saudi Arabia’s extraordinary Red Sea destination.

The Storekeeper Role

Fairmont The Red Sea is seeking a Storekeeper to join its operations team in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to managing storeroom operations, ensuring efficient inventory control, and upholding high standards of organization and accuracy. As a key member of the operations team, the Storekeeper will play a vital role in supporting the seamless functioning of the luxury resort by managing stock levels, coordinating with various departments, and maintaining comprehensive records of all stored materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record all incoming goods and supplies, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain storage areas in a clean, safe, and efficient manner, ensuring proper categorization and accessibility of items.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records using inventory management systems and manual documentation.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and report findings to management.
• Coordinate with department heads and staff to fulfill requisition requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Implement and maintain proper storage procedures to prevent damage, deterioration, and loss of materials.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and company policies within the storeroom environment.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory status, stock movements, and any issues requiring management attention.
• Manage the rotation of stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to minimize waste and spoilage.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, delivery personnel, and internal departments to resolve inventory-related issues.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Experience up to 1 year is preferred, with a strong emphasis on pre-opening experience in a hospitality setting.
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination, scheduling, and document control during pre-opening stages.
• Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
• A proactive, anticipatory approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Impeccable grooming and personal presentation aligned with luxury standards.

Work Location

This full-time position is based in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, within the Red Sea Project development.
