About Raffles The Red Sea

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is establishing Raffles The Red Sea as a sanctuary of refined elegance and luxury within Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea destination. This property, part of the larger Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea development, will offer 361 rooms, 11 dining concepts, and a spa. It aims to blend Raffles' service with the natural beauty and sustainability ethos of Red Sea Global.

The Role: Assistant Public Area Manager

The Assistant Public Area Manager will support the Public Area Manager in overseeing daily cleaning operations across all shared spaces at Raffles The Red Sea. This full-time position is based in Tabuk, specifically in Umluj or Tabuk, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a focus on luxury hospitality housekeeping.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in directing daily cleaning operations for all shared spaces, including lobbies, restaurants, elevators, and outdoor arrival areas.
Conduct frequent inspections to ensure all surfaces, furnishings, and decorative elements meet Luxury Quality Assessment (LQA) standards.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Public Area Attendants and Supervisors, promoting a culture of hospitality and anticipatory service.
Coordinate routine and deep-cleaning programs, such as marble polishing, carpet shampooing, and special setups for VIP arrivals or events.
Liaise with Engineering, Front Office, and Food & Beverage departments to address maintenance needs or guest concerns promptly.
Monitor the usage and inventory of eco-friendly cleaning chemicals and equipment, ensuring adherence to the resort’s sustainability and safety protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in luxury hospitality housekeeping, with significant experience in a supervisory or assistant management role.
Experience in pre-opening stages, including project coordination and document control, is mandatory for this destination.
Proficiency in property management systems (*, Opera) and a deep understanding of specialized cleaning techniques for high-end finishes.
Demonstrated proactive, anticipatory approach, impeccable grooming, and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Commitment to following strict discipline in reducing, reusing, and recycling in line with the Red Sea Global ethos.
Understanding of ultra-luxury guest expectations and brand alignment.
