The Role: Laundry Attendant

Raffles The Red Sea is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to maintaining the high standards of guest service and operational excellence expected within a luxury resort environment. The Laundry Attendant will ensure all linen and guest items are processed efficiently and meticulously, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform washing, dry cleaning, and pressing of laundry items in strict adherence to established procedures set by the Laundry Manager.
• Handle laundry chemicals, solvents, and spotting chemicals safely and carefully, following all provided instructions.
• Accurately mark all items designated for laundering, paying close attention to room numbers and sequences.
• Inspect items thoroughly and report any stained or torn articles, forgotten items in pockets, or jewelry found on clothing to supervisors prior to cleaning.
• Ensure precise execution of specific guest requests, such as particular folding methods for trousers or shirts, or the application of light starch.
• Weigh laundry before loading equipment and consistently maintain all laundry machinery and the working area in a proper state of cleanliness and organization.
• Participate in daily briefings and provide valet services as required, including the timely delivery of linen.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a laundry or hospitality service environment. A strong aptitude for following detailed procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization is essential for success in this position.
