Grand Hyatt is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the high standards of guest service and operational efficiency within the hotel's extensive facilities.

The Laundry Attendant Role

The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the hotel's Laundry Department. This involves handling all aspects of laundry processing to provide clean, well-maintained linens and uniforms for guests and staff, directly supporting the overall guest experience and hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and presses, ensuring proper functionality and reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Inspect all items for stains or damage, treating them appropriately or reporting items that require mending or replacement to the supervisor.
• Ensure the laundry area is kept clean, organized, and compliant with all hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Manage inventory of laundry supplies and report needs to the supervisor to ensure continuous operations.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient working environment within the Laundry Department by collaborating with team members.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 year of experience in a similar laundry or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality linen care and presentation.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift, and move laundry items as required by the role.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Work Environment and Schedule

This is a full-time position based at the Grand Hyatt property in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per operational needs to support the hotel's 24/7 service delivery.
