About the Role

Four Points is seeking a Full-time Laundry Attendant to join its team in Jeddah. This role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the efficient and professional handling of laundry operations within the establishment.

Position Summary

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the comprehensive management of laundry processes, ensuring all items are cleaned, maintained, and prepared according to established standards. This includes operating machinery, identifying item conditions, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the laundry area.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding necessary chemicals and cleaning lint traps.
Identify stained or damaged items and determine appropriate action for repair, spot treatment, rewash, or discard.
Inspect the cleanliness of articles removed from machines and place them in clean linen carts.
Set dryers to designated times and temperatures based on fabric types contained in each load.
Remove lint and debris from dryer screens, dry cleaning filters, and drain traps after each load.
Fold cleaned articles to designated sizes, either by hand or using a folding machine.
Maintain accurate records of laundered items.

Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete required safety training and certifications.
Comply with all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
