Red Sea Global is seeking a Senior Manager Procurement for Botanica, its subsidiary specializing in sustainable greenery across Red Sea Global’s destinations. Botanica focuses on integrating new species with local flora, managing over 1 million square meters, and has cultivated over 5 million plants since 2020, with a goal of 30 million by 2030. This full-time role is based in Tabuk, with operations in Umluj and Tabuk.

Role Purpose

The Senior Manager Procurement will lead procurement and supplier management for all Botanica business units. This includes plants and trees (local and imported), growing inputs (fertilizers, crop protection, substrates, pots), irrigation materials, equipment, fleet, spares, and services. The role ensures quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery, adhering to Botanica and Red Sea Global Group procurement policies, while maintaining ethical supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual procurement plan based on approved budgets for Production, Nursery Operations, Landscape Maintenance, and support functions.
• Formulate category strategies for plants and trees, agricultural inputs, irrigation, equipment and fleet, and services.
• Aggregate demand and establish framework and rate agreements for recurring items.
• Manage the complete sourcing and purchasing cycle, including requisitions, RFQs or tenders, technical and commercial evaluations, negotiations, and purchase order issuance.
• Source imported plants from qualified international suppliers and manage pre-qualification, site visits, inspection, tagging, lead times, freight, and customs clearance.
• Maintain the approved vendor list, qualify new suppliers, evaluate performance, and manage contracts, claims, and disputes.
• Monitor savings, price benchmarks, and spend by category and business unit, ensuring compliance with procurement policy, ethics, and anti-bribery controls (ISO 37301).
• Collaborate with stores and Nursery Operations to agree on reorder levels for consumables and prevent stock-outs.
• Lead the procurement team, setting objectives, KPIs, and development plans.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant Botanica and Red Sea Global Group policies, delegation of authority (DoA), processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Champion safety, quality, and environmental management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and the compliance management system (ISO 37301).
• Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, productivity, and client value.

Required Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in procurement and supplier management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex procurement cycles, including international sourcing and logistics.
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.

This role directly impacts plant quality, production timelines, and margins. It involves managing long lead times and biosecurity risks associated with imported plants. The Senior Manager Procurement must balance cost, quality, lead time, and compliance, proactively identifying and mitigating supply risks to prevent client delays.
