About Raffles The Red Sea and the Role

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Waiter/Waitress to join the team at Raffles The Red Sea, located in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is part of a groundbreaking luxury hospitality destination within the Kingdom's Red Sea Project, offering a nature-focused resort experience.

The Resort Environment

Raffles & Fairmont The Red Sea will feature 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, including an overwater restaurant, and a comprehensive Spa. Situated next to an 18-hole championship golf course, the resort is committed to sustainable development on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of over 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitats, and ancient archaeological sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service at all times.
• Anticipate guest needs, preferences, and expectations to exceed satisfaction.
• Present menus proactively and provide detailed explanations of dishes and beverages, maintaining strong product knowledge.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items in a timely and unobtrusive manner.
• Ensure tables are properly set, cleared, and reset according to service standards.
• Support team members with food running, table service, and station refills.
• Act as a link between Front of House and Back of House to ensure smooth service flow.
• Follow opening and closing checklists to ensure seamless operations, and maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations.
• Support daily financial targets and operational goals of the outlet, following all financial handling procedures.
• Maintain compliance with LQA, Forbes, and guest satisfaction benchmarks.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and FIFO standards, and follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Report hazards and maintenance issues through the appropriate systems.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues and management, attending all briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
• Uphold grooming and presentation standards, and contribute to sustainability initiatives and responsible operational practices.
• Perform any additional duties or special projects assigned by management, demonstrating accountability and ownership.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a luxury hospitality environment.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality guest service and maintain professional standards.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
