About the Role

Join Etihad, the World's Leading Airline, as an Airport Manager based in Buraydah, Al Qasim. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and directing all airport operations. This involves overseeing team and service provider performance to ensure financial, customer service, quality, safety, and security objectives are met in accordance with all applicable regulatory and company requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all passenger and aircraft handling operations on a management and shift basis, ensuring adherence to arrival/departure checklists, brand requirements, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in daily operations, including working shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required, to deliver local operational objectives.
• Manage safety and security outcomes through promotion, hazard identification, risk assessment, and continuous monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure all flight editing and special guest requirements are met, including the assessment, planning, and coordination for VIP/MAAS, PRM, and other special category guests.
• Develop, maintain, and rehearse the station emergency response plan, disruption planning, diversion/delay handling, and business continuity plans.
• Manage and mitigate on-time performance, including accurate reporting and follow-up of delays.
• Oversee airport ancillary sales performance, promotion, coordination, and process compliance monitoring.
• Promote, deliver, monitor, and report on customer service-related standards, including performance against associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Perform the duties of the Local Security Contact Officer.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Degree level education (A-level or baccalaureate equivalent) is desirable, or relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of 7-9 years of relevant experience in a leadership or senior management capacity, with exposure to global business best practices.
• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within a highly pressured and multicultural shift environment is required.
• Proven ability to lead, drive results, and communicate effectively internally and externally across multiple channels.
• Previous regional or international exposure is highly advantageous.

The Airport Manager operates in a dynamic and fast-paced airport environment. The role requires active participation in daily operations, including working shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed. You will lead and manage all elements of operations while on duty, ensuring continuous adherence to operational standards.
