About the Role

Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) is seeking a Midwife Nurse 3 to provide advanced-level nursing care within an assigned unit. This full-time position is based in Buqayq and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of patient care, resolving complex clinical issues, and mentoring intermediate-level nurses.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care, particularly for complex cases.
• Manage workflow, optimize resource utilization, and provide mentorship to junior nurses.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and participate in evaluating patient outcomes.
• Achieve and maintain mandated activities for Level 3 within the Clinical Advancement Program (minimum 20 points across at least four categories per 12-month cycle).
• Utilize the nursing process for patient care from admission to discharge, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation specific to the patient's age.
• Provide patient and family education consistent with the care plan, respecting privacy, dignity, personal preference, and culture.
• Precept new hires and trainees during their probation period and contribute to recommendations regarding their progress and training needs.
• Respond effectively to emergency and life-saving situations using clinical skills, critical thinking, and evidence-based practices.
• Perform a range of nursing procedures with attention to accuracy, patient safety, and comfort, while maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Conduct normal spontaneous deliveries in accordance with licensing requirements.
• Perform episiotomies when necessary.
• Apply suturing techniques for perineal tears or incisions post-delivery (1st and 2nd-degree tears and episiotomies).

Strategic Contributions

• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices within the unit.
• Participate in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency.
• Support high staff engagement and patient experience.
• Work to achieve and sustain high quality of care and patient safety standards.
• Support the empowerment of nurses through the JHAH nursing Professional Practice Model.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant nursing field.
• Demonstrated ability to provide advanced-level nursing care.
• Experience in mentoring intermediate-level nurses.
• Proficiency in managing complex clinical issues.

Work Environment

This role involves close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery. The position is full-time and located in Buqayq.
