About Acwa and the Role

Acwa is seeking dedicated ARCS Technicians to join its team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the reliable operation of critical security and communication infrastructure. The ARCS Technician is responsible for the comprehensive lifecycle management of access control systems, radio communication equipment, security systems, and their associated infrastructure, encompassing installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The primary objective is to ensure all systems function efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with established company standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, and communication systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ARCS equipment and associated hardware.
• Troubleshoot system faults and execute repairs to minimize operational downtime.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
• Ensure all installations adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and comprehensive documentation.
• Support system upgrades, modifications, and expansions as required.
• Coordinate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and clients during installation and maintenance activities.
• Respond to emergency service calls and technical issues promptly when necessary.
• Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential operational problems before failures occur.
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, testing devices, and company equipment.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates for the ARCS Technician position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of access control, radio communication, and security systems. A strong understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and system documentation is essential. The role requires proven abilities in fault diagnosis, system testing, and adherence to safety and operational standards.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The work environment for this role is dynamic, involving both indoor and outdoor settings across various client sites, construction projects, industrial facilities, and company locations. Travel between project sites is required. Occasional demands for after-hours, weekend, or emergency support may be necessary. The role also requires the physical capacity to lift and carry technical equipment and tools, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in diverse weather conditions when required, as well as the ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by several key indicators, including the uptime and reliability of installed systems, timely completion of maintenance schedules, efficient response to service requests, and the overall quality of installations and repairs. Adherence to safety and operational procedures, along with the accuracy of technical documentation and reporting, are also critical performance aspects.
