About the Role

Acwa is seeking experienced ARCS Technicians to join our team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of critical access control, radio communication, and security systems. The technician will be responsible for the comprehensive installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of these systems and their associated infrastructure, adhering to company standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, and communication systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on ARCS equipment and associated hardware.
Troubleshoot system faults and execute repairs to minimize downtime.
Conduct system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations, industry standards, and project specifications.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and documentation.
Support system upgrades, modifications, and expansions as required.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients during installation and maintenance activities.
Respond to emergency service calls and technical issues when required.
Inspect equipment and identify potential operational problems before failures occur.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, testing devices, and company equipment.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of access control, radio communication, and security systems. A strong technical understanding of relevant hardware and software components is essential.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Work will be performed in various settings, including indoors and outdoors at client sites, construction projects, industrial facilities, and company locations. This position may require travel between project sites and occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency support.

The role requires the ability to lift and carry technical equipment and tools. Technicians must also be capable of working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions when necessary, as well as standing, walking, bending, and climbing for extended periods.

Performance Expectations

Success in this role is measured by the consistent uptime and reliability of systems, timely completion of maintenance schedules, and efficient response to service requests. High-quality installations and repairs, strict compliance with safety and operational procedures, and accurate technical documentation and reporting are key performance indicators for this position.
