About the Role

Lantern Systems Co. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Draftsman – Electrical & ELV to join their team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for professionals with 3-5 years of relevant experience. The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining engineering drawings and CAD models for various electrical and low-voltage systems.

Role Overview

The primary function of this role is to ensure all Electrical, Telecommunications, ELV, and Security Systems drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, international standards, and company drafting procedures. The Draftsman will provide essential support for design development, construction documentation, and the preparation of IFC/As-Built drawings, as well as document control activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Drawing & Documentation Control:Prepare Concept Drawings, IFR (Issued for Review) Drawings, IFI (Issued for Information) Drawings, IFC (Issued for Construction) Drawings, As-Built Drawings, Shop Drawings, and Detailed Installation Drawings.
• Maintain drawing registers and revision history for all project documentation.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project CAD standards, established drafting procedures, and document numbering systems.
• Support the preparation of engineering deliverables for Aconex, client submissions, and consultant reviews.
• Coordination & Site Support:Coordinate effectively with engineers, construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate drawing development.
• Review site conditions and update drawings based on red-line markups provided by site teams.
• Provide support for technical queries and drawing clarifications during the construction phase.

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Draftsman, specifically in Electrical and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in preparing engineering drawings and CAD models.
• Demonstrated ability to work in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards.
• Experience with document control activities and maintaining drawing registers.
