Heating Air Conditioning Technician

About the Role

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking a Heating Air Conditioning Technician to join their team in Tabuk. This full-time role focuses on the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems within various building facilities. The position requires practical experience in facilities management, building maintenance, HVAC maintenance, and MEP projects, specifically within established building environments rather than solely installation or construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems in building facilities.
• Regularly inspect HVAC systems and equipment, documenting and reporting findings.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Work with DX and chilled water systems, including split units, packaged units, ducted split systems, VRV/VRF, AHU, FCU, CAV/VAV, and related HVAC equipment.
• Replace or repair HVAC controls and electronic components as needed.
• Install or repair refrigerant lines, chilled water lines, make-up lines, and drain lines.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and resolve issues within specified timeframes.
• Identify necessary spare parts and support spare parts requisition processes.
• Assist with testing and commissioning activities when applicable.
• Maintain basic maintenance records, registers, and reports.
• Adhere to all site safety procedures, including PPE requirements, LOTO, isolation, risk assessment, and work permit procedures.
• Support supervisors and engineers in planning and executing maintenance tasks.
• Ensure work completion meets project Service Level Agreements (SLA) and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical diploma or certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Mechanical, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Facilities Management, building maintenance, and HVAC maintenance.
• Proven experience within building facilities such as towers, malls, hospitals, hotels, compounds, universities, airports, commercial buildings, or other large facilities.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Practical experience with DX and chilled water HVAC systems.
• Ability to effectively use standard HVAC tools and instruments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting common HVAC faults.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety principles relevant to HVAC maintenance.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow supervisor instructions accurately.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position within building facilities in Tabuk. Candidates must be willing to work in such environments.
